INSURANCE PLANS

The lists of insurance plans we do and do not accept are provided for your convenience. However, please be aware that the lists may not be entirely accurate due to constant changes and mergers in insurance networks and companies. While we strive to keep the information as up-to-date as possible, it may not be inclusive of all plans.

It's important to note that most plans offer out-of-network benefits. When you contact our office to schedule an appointment, we assume that you have made an informed decision regarding your insurance coverage. We do not verify participating status in our patients' insurance plans.

We aim to provide care to anyone who wishes to consult one of our providers with only a few exceptions. Please refer to the list at the bottom of this section for a list of insurance plans we have chosen not to accept.

COMMERCIAL PLANS ACCEPTED:

MEDICARE AND MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS WE ACCEPT:

  • Traditional Medicare Part B

  • Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan PPO (no HMO plans)

  • AARP Medicare Complete Focus Essential (no new patients)

  • AARP Walgreens PPO (NOT HMO)- call office to confirm (no new patients)

  • United HealthCare ERS, TRS Medicare Advantage Plans PPO only (no HMO plan)

    • We continue to care for our established patients who are Texas RETIRED TEACHERS and State of Texas EMPLOYEES with whichever insurance TRS and ERS choose.

  • City of Austin BCBS Retirees Medicare Advantage

PLANS WE DO NOT ACCEPT AT THIS TIME:

  • We do not accept any HMO plans

  • BCBS Medicare Advantage individual plans (BCBS pulled out of the market)

  • Humana Medicare Advantage Plans

  • UHC- United HealthCare- we are not accepting any WellMed2 (Welm2)

  • Amerigroup

  • WellMed

  • Workers’ Compensation

  • Third-party insurers (automobile or homeowners)

  • Market (FirstCare, BCBSTX Market, Ambetter, Molina)

  • And many more not listed as unacceptable
